Check out an app called Out of milk (outofmilk.com) Best list app and free for most anything and you can have multiple lists. Has the ability to sync lists with others. I've used it for years and both Apple and Android.

Google Keep has grown so lilttle in the amount of time it has been a available 😅

This was a great vidio. on my iPhones Google Calendar (Settings to General) I do not see "Notifications" Section. Not do I see "Notify on this device" ?? Can you tell me how to get that to populate?

Not really sure why keep doesn't offer nested folders. So many apps can do what keep does but better. I can organize with keep but I feel like I'm forcing the organization rather than a natural feeling. There are about 4 essential features I'd like to add to keep but that's me, probably works great for someone else. The only reason I have it on my phone is to use it as a quick sticky note or voice recorder/transcriber

Love it Scott! I regularly use Google Keep for grocery notes, but had no idea about the naming convention features. Being "elderly" I sharted using it and sharing it with my 3 children during covid times (they shopped for me). Thanks again for all your great tips!

It didn't work

If I share a note with another person, how will he/she know that a note has been shared. Will he/she get an email or just a notification? Will this sharing feature only work if the other person has Google Keep?

Sadly GKeep is NOT the 'Ultimate Shopping List'' (for us at least) unless Google have fixed a couple of nasty glitches recently. But it can certainly be quite useful provided you stick to smaller indented lists. . As a massive long term GKeep user, I naturally started using it for my shopping list - pretty much as you describe, and well before Covid. Using 13 category heads, I gradually added more and more indented items. But sadly once the list grew to >~120 items I started experiencing problems. The biggest frustration was with the reliability of the indenting, as I would often find that when un-checking the list for next time, some of the items had jumped into another category or disappeared all-together. Oddly this never seemed to happen if the list was under 80 items. So we then split our list into two - 1) Fresh & 2) Stored items,. But although these were shared with family members, they just didn't seem to work as well as a single list. Despite repeatedly contacting Google about this bug, as well as asking for any update on 'promised' enhancements - such as bold, italic, underling etc. very little feature development work appears to have been done (in YEARS). But as it is a free app, I shouldn't complain. . Anyway post-Covid we went back to using a single page (A4) shopping checklist I had made in GSheets. We keep it stuck to our fridge - and anyone can update it prior to our weekly shop. Old school 🦕 I know. But it is simple, neat, quick and totally RELIABLE. I even re-use the page (most of the time) to make a plain PocketMod (look them up if you are not using them) Anyway thanks for a very good instructional video - I just wish I had seen it 5 years ago 😂
